Anthem of the Seas Review | Tracey Holt
Being a Cruise Specialist with GoCruise Franchise certainly has its benefits and being able to visit and experience new cruise ships before the general public is definitely one of them. 2015 has been an exciting year for the cruise industry so far, with many high profile ship launches – the latest of which is Royal Caribbean’s ‘Anthem of the Seas’.
A lot of hype and activity has surrounded Royal Caribbean’s second Quantum Class ship, particularly following the news that popular features on board ‘Quantum of the Seas ‘would be returning on Anthem of the Seas. These features include RipCord by IFLY; North Star; Two70°; and the Bionic Bar.
Our Cruise Specialists embarked on board this exciting cruise ship for a completely mesmerising weekend of WOWs. This week, we found out a little more about Tracey Holt’s experience and what she thought of the cruise ship as a whole.
Having been on many cruise ship visits, Cruise Specialist Tracey Holt delivers the very best cruise experiences for her clients having experienced Anthem of the Seas for herself, Tracey claims the new Quantum Class cruise ship delivered and exceeded beyond expectations.
Some Guests may consider Royal Caribbean’s ‘Anthem of the Seas’ to be too big! Amazing, and in spite of the size and spaciousness of the ship; Tracey still managed to bump in to friends made along the way on that Mini Cruise!!
“The ship has a great personality and ambience on board. There’s a pure elegance and beauty."
“I have sailed with Crystal Cruises and ‘Anthem of the Seas’ provided the quality level of service of a six star ship.”
“It’s innovative, with so much to see and do, however if you want somewhere calm to relax– there are plenty of places to rest and hide on board.”
With 18 restaurants on board and many more bars in addition to those; questions could be raised over the consistent quality of food and service in the various venues. Tracey was quick to put any doubts to rest.
“My son and his girlfriend joined me on board. My son’s girlfriend had never been on a cruise ship before and it really overwhelmed her. She walked into the Grande Restaurant and burst into tears at its sheer beauty and jaw dropping style! She’d never experienced anything like it before.”
“If you enjoy unusual food experiences – ‘Wonderland ‘(Speciality Dining) ” is an absolute must!"
Tracey was invited as a VIP to dine in ‘Coastal Kitchen’ (Speciality Restaurant for Suite Guests). “The food on this occasion was superior to one of my favourite haunts: the Savoy Grill in London. It was incredible! The bars each have their own unique character.”
“In Bolero’s Latino bar, the waitress was very good. She really knew how to engage with guests and knew all her products and ingredients.”
With so many amazing facilities on board and with such a high passenger capacity; questions could be asked about the quality and size of the staterooms. It’s safe to say, Tracey and colleagues were far from disappointed.
“The staterooms are very accommodating. The drawer space is brilliant and the design of the bathrooms is good, with clean lines throughout.”
One feature Tracey picked up on that others didn’t notice was the USB wall charger. Ideal if you forgot your mains plug.
“The balcony was very spacious and I loved that there were sun loungers on each balcony rather than just chairs.”
On board entertainment also received rave reviews, with guests being able to feast their senses on the successful We Will Rock You musical.
“The shows were WOW! We Will Rock You was absolutely fantastic and Spectra (the other musical performance on show over the course of the stay) was also fab! It provided something different to the usual headliners’ shows.”
As a top seller for GoCruise Franchise, Tracey really knows how to sell each cruise - and, when asked how she would sell Anthem of the Seas, replied with excitement and enthusiasm. “My enthusiasm will sell that cruise. It’s not going be around, sailing out of the UK, for long. This ship is a destination in itself.”
“It’s eccentric! It’s quirky! It’s a cruise ship for generations and families. You will never get bored on ‘Anthem of the Seas.’”
“My only disappointment is that ‘Anthem of the Seas’ is only here sailing from the UK for this season and departs in the autumn 2015.”
"Mind you, I wouldn't say no to doing the sailing on Anthem of the Seas out of New York in 2016!!!"
